Terms of
service.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Proxy Voice is a division of BG Marketing LLC, a Utah limited liability company based in St. George, Utah ("Proxy Voice," "we," "us"). These Terms govern your use of this website, the browser and phone demos, and the Proxy Voice AI receptionist service. By using any of them, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

01The service

Proxy Voice provides an AI-powered phone receptionist configured for a business ("Client"). Depending on the plan, it answers inbound calls, books appointments to a connected calendar, sends SMS confirmations and reminders, captures caller details, and transfers calls to a human where configured.

Proxy Voice is a business tool. It is not a telephone carrier, an answering service staffed by people, or a medical, legal, or financial adviser.

Not for emergencies

The AI receptionist must never be used for emergency, medical, safety, or crisis calls, and cannot contact emergency services. Anyone with an emergency should hang up and dial 911. Clients are responsible for making sure their business does not route emergency-related calls to Proxy Voice.

02Automated calls and recording

Calls handled by Proxy Voice are answered by an artificial intelligence system, not a person. The receptionist identifies itself as an AI when asked. Call audio and transcripts may be recorded, stored, and processed to operate the service, to let the Client review their own calls, and to improve quality. How that data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

Recording and automated-calling laws differ by state, and some states require the consent of every party to a call. Each Client is responsible for complying with the laws that apply to its own callers, including any notice or consent its jurisdiction requires. Clients should seek their own legal advice on this point; we cannot give it.

03Accuracy, and the limits of an AI

The receptionist is built from information the Client supplies and from an AI language model. Like any such system, it can be wrong. It may misunderstand a caller, mis-transcribe a name or number, give an incomplete answer, fail to book an appointment, or book one incorrectly.

We work to reduce these errors and to make call transcripts available so they can be caught. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific call will be answered, booked, or transferred. Nothing the AI says constitutes a binding offer, quote, or commitment on behalf of a Client unless that Client confirms it independently.

04Third-party services

Proxy Voice depends on third-party providers for telephony, speech, language models, hosting, and calendar access. Outages, changes, or errors at those providers can interrupt or degrade the service, and are outside our control.

05The demo

The demo on this site and the demo phone line connect to a fictional business created for demonstration. It is not a real company, and nothing it says is a real offer, price, or appointment. Demo use is rate-limited and intended for evaluation; automated, abusive, or high-volume use may be blocked.

06Client responsibilities

07SMS messaging

Where SMS is enabled, messages are transactional — appointment confirmations and reminders — and are sent through a registered A2P 10DLC campaign. Recipients may reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

08Fees, billing, and cancellation

Fees, setup charges, and billing dates are set out in the Service Agreement signed by each Client. Service continues until cancelled in writing under the notice period in that agreement. Partial months are not refunded.

Where these Terms and a signed Service Agreement differ, the signed Service Agreement controls for that Client.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Proxy Voice and BG Marketing LLC are not liable for missed calls, booking errors, transcription errors, lost business, lost profits, or service interruptions, including those caused by third-party providers.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service, on any theory of liability, will not exceed the amount paid by the Client for one month of service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10Indemnification

Each Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Proxy Voice and BG Marketing LLC from claims arising out of the Client's own use of the service, the information the Client supplies, and the Client's compliance or non-compliance with laws applying to its callers — including recording, consent, and messaging laws.

11Intellectual property

The Proxy Voice software, prompts, configuration, name, and branding remain our property. A Client's own business information, call records, and customer data remain the Client's, and are provided back on request.

12Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate service for non-payment, for unlawful or abusive use, or where continued operation would put us or a third party at risk. Where practical we will give notice first.

13Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The "last updated" date above will change, and continued use after an update means acceptance. Material changes affecting active Clients will be communicated directly.

14Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts serving Washington County, Utah.
